Canadian Firearms Safety Course (PAL)
The one-day course you need before applying for a non-restricted firearms licence.
Half a day on handguns and other restricted firearms, then the exams. Together with the PAL course, it’s what you need to apply for a restricted licence.

The CRFSC meets the Canadian Firearms Program’s training requirement for a restricted licence. You learn and practise safe handling, loading and unloading, and the safety and trigger functions of handguns, plus the extra storage, transport and securement rules for restricted firearms.
Class uses disabled firearms and dummy ammunition, with no live fire. No experience is needed.
You need both this course and the PAL course to apply for a restricted licence, so most students take them back to back.

Safety in every part of ownership and use, and the extra legal requirements that come with restricted firearms.
